I spent the first half of my career as a children's book editor specializing in picture books. It was in this field that I discovered the power of visual storytelling. After learning more about the production side of the publishing business (aka HTML), and serving as a lead in a content management systems build, I decided to combine my various expertise and pursue a career in user experience design focusing on product and project management, user research, and strategy.
When not conducting user research, synthesizing data, and developing clean, efficient user interfaces, I like to pursue creative endeavors without reading the instructions first. See some examples here.
